Prime Minister Ünal Üstel received Republic of Turkey (TRNC) Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Deputy Chairman in charge of Foreign Affairs, Bursa Deputy Efkan Ala and the accompanying delegation at the TRNC Republican Assembly Hall of Honor. UBP MPs were also present at the reception.
Savaşan, who is of Paphos origin, was born in Nicosia in 1977. He completed his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees at Near East University. He conducted academic studies as an associate professor, organized more than 100 congresses and received awards. Having worked as a manager for 20 years, Savaşan served as the President of the World Health Tourism Council in 2023-24. Savaşan, who was elected as UBP Nicosia MP in 2022 and is currently UBP Group Deputy Chairman, contributed to nearly 100 legislative studies. Savaşan is married and has one child.
